This is a song for the look on your face that brings out the imp in me. Who's Aly? She's someone we'll go to any lengths to get a joyful reaction from - so she inspired the song.
It's hard to say when the Hawaiian lyrics really started to take shape. Something from a suggestion by our producer Ed Vadas about using nonsense syllables that sounded like Hawaiian. But we thought it would be fun to actually say something in Hawaiian. So using the web as a guide, we tried to construct a verse in Hawaiian. Apologies to anyone who actually speaks Hawaiian. We have no idea if we succeeded or failed. I'm sure we'll hear about it if we failed. This is the second song where TagYerit used the word 'kahuna'. Kahuna is one of a handful of Hawaiian words that has been adopted into the English language.
