Humorous Print - Fisherman's folly.
Painted and published by Thomas Mclean. The piece shows three fly fishers on a boat, with their dog in the water. with one of the fisherman having his fly caught in the others nostril is falling back in his chair. You definitely would not want to go out with this crew.
Condition: Slight soiling on top of print especially top left outside the print area.

Condition: Print has some wrinkling on upper right corner. Upper left corner of backing mat has creases.

Good Condition
The girl is riding side saddle on her white horse. It's a classic image of them leaping a fence. She's dressed in period riding gear(1924) with crop, presumably following 'the chase'.
Gilbert Holiday (1879 to 1937) is known for his Hunting, Racing and Military Art. He painted many military pictures as well as many equestrian scenes of Hunting, polo, racing, coaching and show jumping.
This item is from an orphaned lot.

Condition: Fair condition. Covers are clean, with some fraying along edge and back cover dog-eared lower corner. Cover has separated from magazine. Some staining on inside.
